Brazilian Service Project was founded by Ki Delicia Foods, in 2003. The corporation built this organization to serve as a bridge between the resources and good will of American corporations and the needy daycare centers in Brazil. The first project was carried out in Rio de Janeiro in 2003. Since then, several volunteers with different skills have joined and helped the project. And Ki Delicia Foods has been sponsoring the projects taking place every year. There are many people out there who love Brazil and understand its challenges. We believe that more volunteers in Brazil and corporations in America will be part of this project in the future.
To help day care centers in poor neighborhoods in Brazil. There are a number of centers in Brazil managed by volunteers. Their greatest challenge is to find the resources to maintain their facilities and to provide the necessary educational materials and recreational equipments. Brazilian Service Project will support educational programs that seeks to empower parents and educators with the knowledge to take a proactive role in the lives of the young people they care about. Strengthening families will contribute for the establishment of a better community. Brazilian Service Project will maintain donators informed about its activities. In addition, we encourage the donators to visit these daycare centers to see for themselves the impact of their contributions.
